The respondents are from the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev", BA"D. A. Tsenov", University of Economics - Varna, UNWE, VTU "St. St. Cyril and Methodius". The correlation between the different generations Z, Y and X in students and Y, X and Baby Boomers in teachers and their attitudes towards the use of certain methods and approaches in teaching economic subjects was discussed. The results of the survey clearly show the students' preferences for visualizing the learning material in the teachers' presentations with examples from practice, figures and illustrations. There are still reservations about using video content and smartphones in the learning process.
The results show that already 67% of the teachers spend extra effort and time to prepare interesting and interactive lessons. Three quarters of teachers state the need for targeted and permanent training of teachers to use new technologies in education.
The webinar was attended by 29 teachers and doctoral students from 6 higher schools – University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev", BA "D. A. Tsenov", University of Economics - Varna, UNWE, VTU "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", New Bulgarian University.
